Called By Name Mass & Reception

Called By Name nominees are cordially invited by Bishop Peter Christensen to a special Mass and Reception on Sunday, January 18th.

This event will begin with the 10:30 AM Mass at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. A reception will follow, with coffee, donuts, and other refreshments. During the reception, Bishop Peter Christensen will share words of encouragement and a brief reflection on discernment. Additionally, Fr. Nathan Dail, Director of Vocations, will share his own vocation story, and offer practical advice on discernment. The event will conclude with an overview of resources and opportunities offered by the Vocation Office.

If you are unable to attend this event in person, please still register below and select that you would like to receive a Zoom link to participate in the talks virtually. 

This event is not just for men seriously considering the priesthood. It is for any young man who is open to God’s will and learning more about the priesthood. All young Catholic men should pray about the priesthood – this is a great concrete step to take.
