My name is Ian Willnerd. My whole life I have called Boise my home. I grew up on the east side of Boise close to the Cathedral—my home parish. I attended Riverstone International School from kindergarten through to my senior year. It was during my junior year of high school that I got really involved in my faith and started to discern the priesthood.
After some time discerning, I realized that God was calling me to the priesthood, not for my sake, but so that through my vocation “I might help others.” It is in this spirit that I continue my formation at St. Paul Seminary in as a Theology I seminarian. I ask for your prayers as I continue to seek God’s will in my life.
