Templar and Sons of St. Joseph Trip to Twin Falls

Templars and Sons of St. Joseph are invited to a weekend trip in Twins Falls on 10/2 – 10/4! Below is an itinerary for the trip. The schedule below is for those coming from Boise. Older and younger brothers from other cities can certainly join, you’ll just have to work out rides amongst yourselves.

Friday
Meet at 5pm at a restaurant (TBD) near St. Mark’s in Boise for a quick dinner and orientation.
Depart. Arrive at St. Edward’s in Twin Falls around 8 – 8:30 PM.
We will sleep in the Parish Hall. Bring sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillow, etc. (No showers available Friday night.)

Saturday
We will begin the day with 8 AM Mass at St. Edwards. Templars serve.
Afterwards, we will attend the Trap Shoot at the gun club. See this page for details. Those not participating will help out with the event.
We’ll have lunch provided and be finished at the shoot by 2:30 PM.
During the afternoon, we’ll have downtime at the park near Shoshone Falls. Discipleship discussion. Time for silent lectio.
At 5pm we will return to the parish hall/rectory, showers will be available.
At 6pm, there will be a parish social with dinner/hors d’oeuvres (in between the 5pm and 7pm Masses). Templar presentation and Q&A.
7pm: Spanish Mass. Templars serve.
After Mass, we’ll have downtime at the Hall, maybe play some board games or mafia.
10pm: Night Prayer & Lights out

Sunday
6:30am: Wake up, simple breakfast, holy hour
8:30am: Holy Mass. Templars serve
9:30am: Parish social with coffee & donuts. Templar presentation and Q&A.
Afterwards we will clean up, debrief, depart. Arrive back at St. Mark’s in Boise around 1-2.
