Discernment Retreat (18+)

Previously, this Discernment Retreat was advertised as being held Aug 1-3 at Marymount Hermitage. Due to unforeseen delays in the renovations at Marymount Hermitage, the facilities will not be ready in time for our scheduled retreat. However, we are pleased to offer an alternative plan to ensure we can still gather for a meaningful day of discernment and fellowship. 

Young men (18+) are invited to gather on Saturday, August 2nd, at St. Paul’s on the campus of BSU. The address for St. Paul’s is 1910 W University Dr, Boise, ID 83725

The retreat will begin at 10:00 AM and will include: 

• • • Introductions/Greetings
  • • Holy Hour
  • • Mass
  • • Midday Prayer
  • • Lunch
  • • Discernment talks/reflections
  • • Floating the Boise River (bring bathing suit, sunscreen, water bottle)
  • • Concluding with dinner at 5pm

If you plan to travel a distance to attend this event and need accommodations, please contact the Vocation Office at vocations@rcdb.org. An overnight stay at the Frassati House may be possible, but space is limited. 

We are also happy to announce that the cost for this revised retreat is being reduced from $75 to $25. (For those who have already paid the original $75, we will be in touch to work out the reimbursement process.) Registration for this event is required.
